Axial fan
An axial fan is a type of fan where the airflow is in the same direction as the axis of the blades, such as in electric fans and the fans of air conditioning outdoor units. It is called "axial" because the gas flows parallel to the axis of the fan. Axial fans are typically used in situations where high flow rates are required but low pressure is acceptable. They are fixed in position and move air.
Centrifugal fan
A centrifugal fan is a mechanical device that relies on input mechanical energy to increase gas pressure and discharge gas. It is a type of driven fluid machinery. Centrifugal fans are widely used for ventilation, dust removal, and cooling in factories, mines, tunnels, cooling towers, vehicles, ships, and buildings; for ventilation and induced draft in boilers and industrial furnaces; for cooling and ventilation in air conditioning equipment and household appliances; for drying and transporting grains; and for wind tunnel air sources and air cushion vehicle inflation and propulsion. Centrifugal fans can be made in both right-handed and left-handed types. When viewed from the motor side, if the impeller rotates clockwise, it is called a right-handed fan; if it rotates counterclockwise, it is called a left-handed fan.
Cross flow fan
The most notable feature of a cross flow fan is that the fluid passes through the fan impeller twice, entering radially and then exiting radially, with the intake and exhaust directions in the same plane, resulting in a uniform distribution of the discharged gas along the width of the fan. Due to its simple structure, small size, and high dynamic pressure coefficient, it achieves a longer distance and is widely used in laser instruments, air conditioning, air curtain devices, dryers, hair dryers, household appliances, and grain combine harvesters.

Understanding Industrial Cross Flow Fans: Key Features and Applications
Industrial cross flow fans are a critical component in various industrial applications, particularly in air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. Unlike traditional axial fans, cross flow fans operate by drawing air in parallel to the axis of the fan and expelling it at a right angle. This unique design allows for a more uniform air distribution, making them particularly suitable f
